Name: Carita Marie Favourite colour: Electric Blue Food: Sushi Music/bands: I love most jazz from most eras but Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, The Andrews Sisters and Bix Biederbecke are my favourites. I also like New Wave and Ska. Movie: At the moment I'm in love with Infamous, I'm enthralled by that film. Animal: Goat. Books: All time fave: Alice in Wonderland, close seconds: K-PAX and Silence of the Lambs. Schooling: I'm currently studying at QUT. My major is Television, which is great fun and lots of hard work. Yes it is a lot of watching TV and movies but in a whole new way. I just started a new Minor which is Art, Design and Architecture. I'm really looking forward to it. Work: I, like so many other fine JDs, work for Angus and Robertson booksales and at Christmas time Calendar Club as well. Aspirations: I hope to have a career in film, specifically Production Design. The Production Designer is the person that is in charge or everything you see except for the actors, the props, the set, the costumes and the make-up. They decide with the Director, Cinematographer and Producers what the film will look like and works with a team to make the set and all of props and costumes. As well as a successful career I hope to have a happy life with hopefully a husband and children. I wish that when my sons and daughters are old enough they will still be able to experience and same companionship and benefit from Job's Daughters the way I have. Mascot: Ophelia Olivia Owl. |
